ACPET is offering it's members a free workshop in order to support members in applying for the WTIF.

When:   Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 March 2017
Where:  TMG College – 411 King Street, Melbourne
              opposite Flagstaff Gardens / Next door to Hailebury College
Cost:       Free

Learning Outcomes

This workshop is suitable for members with a Skills First contract who are interested in applying for WTIF grants.

Facilitated by: Kate Nicholls

Kate currently works as a Director and Senior Consultant with Avant Group, a leading business strategy and government grant consulting firm.


In her previous roles, Kate has worked in the Aerospace and Defence sector. Kate managed the Commercial Division of a major aerospace firm which was bought out by a competing precision component manufacturer. During her role there, Kate was heavily involved in industry activities; representing on the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Skilling Committee and previously as a founding member of the Australian Government’s Industry Capability Team for the Joint Strike Fighter F-35 Program.


Kate holds a Masters in Marketing and a Post Graduate Diploma of Business Management from Melbourne Business School, Kate also holds qualifications in Engineering (Mech) and Business Management.
