This webinar follows on from the Introduction webinar on this topic, however those participating need not have taken part in the Introduction webinar.
It is a government requirement (Standard 1 of the Standards for RTOs 2015) that learners enrolled in your course must be given the language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) support they need to successfully complete it. This second webinar in this series will explore how vocational trainers can integrate LLN support strategies into their vocational training delivery. While touching on tools that can help trainers do this, it will be firmly embedded in the vocational context.
By the end of this webinar, participants will have the knowledge and skills to:
- Identify implicit LLN demands in Training Package units of competency
- Factor LLN support into the planning of vocational training delivery
- Locate and use resources that help build capability in providing LLN support during vocational training delivery.
