It is a government requirement (Standard 1 of the Standards for RTOs 2015) that learners enrolled in your course must be given the language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) support they need to successfully complete it.
This webinar will cover how you as a vocational trainer identify which of your learners need LLN support, where that support is best placed, and who is best suited to provide it.
The second webinar in this series will explore how vocational trainers can integrate LLN support strategies into their vocational training delivery.
By the end of this webinar, participants will have the knowledge and skills to:
- understand simple ways to determine if a learner in your course has LLN support needs
- identify own capacity to meet those support needs
- Apply that information when planning your vocational training sessions.
