Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET)
National industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training, for Australian and international students:
• Higher Education
• Vocational Education and Training
• English Language Courses
• Senior Secondary Studies
• Foundation Studies
ACPET is governed by a Board of Directors. The CEO and Executive Team run the day-to-day activities of the organisation.
The board is assisted in its functions by a range of National and State based committees.

ACPET has built links with a range of like minded international organisations in New Zealand, South Africa and Thailand.
ACPET is active in developing policy and submissions to government and other bodies.
We encourage our members to benchmark against similar organisations, hold a national conference, publish a Higher Eductation Journal, and provide a tuition fee assurance scheme for Australian students.
